Valerian Root Powder Organic [1 oz.]

Valerian root is a trailing plant with delicate, aromatic flowers and feathery foliage. The root of the plant is also highly aromatic, although it’s reminiscent of well-worn sneakers when fresh.

Most people generally find the herb makes a relaxing cup of tea, or encapsulate the powdered root as a dietary supplement. However, a chemical called actinidine makes valerian root highly stimulating to cats and such a strong attractant to rats that it’s used as bait.
